I think of myself as an Impressionist of words.
My poems are all moments in time (or snapshots)
and the words just free-fall from image to thought
to memory and so forth. I am concerned
with everyday magic – I think it is in everyone
and everything around us. I try to convey that
to my readers. I like for them to take whatever
meaning they want or need from my words and
am always pleased when different people find
different stories in my work. I began writing as
a child…dropped it…resumed briefly in college…
dropped it again. I did a stint in theatre, but
returned to the written word. I count myself
lucky in that I have an incredible muse.
